THE ROLE

The Rentals Maintenance Technician is responsible for carrying out maintenance, service and modifications to rental assets in accordance to company and manufactures policies ensuring that the maintenance programs in effect are followed along with proper documentation. Primary responsibilities will include servicing and maintaining rental equipment and completing maintenance logs with a commitment to the culture of customer service.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, input and tracking data entry of raw and finished materials in the WMS, using software programs such as IFS and Microsoft Office. Strong multi-tasking skills and an excellent awareness to detail are integral in this position. A high level of initiative, diligence, organization, and thoroughness is also required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that all assigned maintenance activities are performed in accordance to the maintenance program and that maintenance schedules are met with work of high quality and accuracy.
  • Inspect, maintain, service and test rental equipment
  • Perform incoming/outgoing inspections on complete kits
  • Complete all necessary documentation (paperwork, logs, tags, etc.) to allow for tracking of all repairs, concerns and costs
  • Suggest improvements and modifications to increase equipment efficiencies and life span
  • Apply excellent housekeeping practices

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 6 months- 1 year experience in a similar capacity.
  • Understanding of maintenance / operations as it relates to the safe and efficient operation of small engines, small engine and hydraulics knowledge and experience
  • Strong initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Computer experience in Windows, Microsoft Office and ERP systems
  • Demonstrated problem solving, trouble shooting and analytical skills
  • Demonstrates the ability to perform rebuilds on equipment (Crimpers, Hydraulic pumps, Insertion Press,4-Way Remote Valves
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
