Responsibilities

• Drafting and sorting various types of letters and legal documents
• Helping with the support of the sale, purchase, and mortgage documents for residential conveyancing
• Overseeing all the files and maintenance and bringing forward the system
• Managing the calendars and ensuring emails are up to date and assisting with lawyer scheduling
• Communicating with clients
• Ad-hoc general administrative responsibilities as required

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Residential Conveyancer is essential
• Required to have completed and have a certificate of a recognized Legal Assistant Program
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel
• Proficiency with BC Online and Econvey is a great bonus
• Impressive and strong attitude in communication, multi-tasking, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to receive constructive feedback
• Demonstrates skills of being self-driven to take direction and work independently or as part of a team
• Is always professional and has a warm demeanor
