**We offer a competitive compensation package, ranging between $50,000-$75,000. A set base salary during the training period, and transition to a Retail Sales Representative within 6months to 1 year and earn a high annual base income of $65,000 plus a commission-based monthly incentive**

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an energetic, experienced, and passionate food innovator servicing the British Columbia Region. You are more than a number - you are a valuable part of the team. An asset, team player, and leader.

You are someone who has experience working, as a supervisor, buyer or manger, in the retail business (supermarket or grocery stores). During the training, you will partner with the Sales Manager to learn and execute the retail sales process and provide insight into the development and strategy of the cycle.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS

  • Learn and understand the overall retail sale business and product category
  • Learn and perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
  • Learn how to effectively maintain a positive business and customer relationships with the current book of accounts
  • Exceed expectations selling our entire product assortment into retailers across the province. This includes existing customers as well as new doors

ROLE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years experience, in mid-senior level role, in a supermarket or grocery (required)
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license (required) w/ a means of transportation to visit customers
  • Experience in a food retail sales position is an asset
  • Sales leadership or sales associate certification is an asset
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
