Position Summary
The Emergency Department is currently seeking a Temporary Part-Time Job Share Registered Nurse to join their team.

Department/Unit/Program Description
RMH is a medium sized hospital that provides 24 hour care to Emergency Room patients. The Emergency department embraces the Hospital’s vision by providing staff with an excellent, supportive, team environment where the clinical team can practice in a multi-disciplinary team, providing Exceptional Care – Together.

Essential Qualifications
  • Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing
  • Current BCLS and ACLS certification, on hire
  • Current I.V. certification
  • Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale Education
  • Coronary Care course or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years recent Emergency Room experience
  • Demonstrated ability to deal effectively and co-operatively with all levels of staff, patients and the public
  • Demonstrated problem solving, communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
  • Must be able to fulfill physical requirements of the job, as per current Physical Demands Analysis
Preferred Qualifications
  • TNCC and PALS certification
  • Health teaching skills that demonstrates a broad knowledge of Adult and Paediatric Emergency Care
  • BScN preferred
Hours of Work
Must be able to work eight and twelve hour shifts, including weekends, days, and nights. Shift hours may change according to departmental requirements and as per the ONA Collective Agreement.
