The Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways is seeking a term Roadside Development Technician in the Regina regional office. Working within the Traffic Engineering and Development Team, you will review and process applications for subdivisions, roadside developments, approaches, private signs, utility crossings, pipelines, seismic testing, and treaty land entitlement submissions.

In this position you will study air photos, legal plans, and highway construction plans, apply department standards and policies, conduct field investigations, resolve conflicts, respond to public enquiries, prepare sign designs (AutoCAD and similar software), place sign orders with a provincial vendor, generate work orders for sign crews, manage sign corridors with municipal governments and prepare permits.
Typically, the knowledge and abilities required for this position would be obtained by completing a related engineering or applied science diploma and/or several years of relevant work experience.
