Located on Victoria’s beautiful inner harbour, the Hotel Grand Pacific is looking for more Room Attendants to support our operations. As a member of the Housekeeping team, you will play an integral role in helping our independent hotel provide a superior level of service to our guests.

We provide training, so if you don't have previous experience but are ready and willing to work, we encourage you to apply!

Duties:

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
• Dust furniture, vacuum carpets and upholstered furniture
• Make beds and change sheets
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries
• Stock linen closet
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Clean changing rooms and showers
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers
• Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items
• Provide basic information on facilities
• Handle and report lost and found items
• Address customers' complaints or concerns

Skills and Abilities:

• No experience or education required
• Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
• Comfortable with repetitive and physically demanding tasks
• Able to handle heavy loads (up to 20lbs)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable standing for extended periods
• Comfortable bending, crouching, kneeling
• Dependable and reliable
• Effective interpersonal skills
