Sandblaster/Industrial Painter Job at PW Alberta
We're looking for a detail-oriented and passionate professional to join a team of Industrial Painters. We are looking for candidates who are physically capable and have previous sandblasting experience. As a Sandblaster, you will be responsible for removing dirt, paint, grease from surfaces and will occasionally assist with painting and coating.
Responsibilities:
- Remove dirt, paint, grease, and other built-up materials from surfaces
- Set-up and operate a blast booth or similar equipment
- Assist with painting or coating as needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate
- Previous Sandblasting experience or training with large and small industrial materials
- Physically able to complete above duties
- Flexible schedule
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Ability to wear protective equipment for long periods of time
- Attention to detail
- Experience working with/removing heavy metals is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
