Spec Ops Security Canada is currently accepting applications from licensed, professional security guards to join our property security team in Calgary. We are seeking high-profile security guards who are pursuing a future career in law enforcement, corrections or the Canadian Armed Forces or who have prior police, peace officer or military experience.

SITE SECURITY GUARD (High-Profile Residential Security)

• AFTERNOON SHIFT
• NIGHT SHIFT
• SHIFT TEAM LEAD: Full Time Afternoon Shift *Police or Level 1 Peace Officer and Supervisory Experience Required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS TO APPLY:

• VALID ALBERTA SECURITY LICENSE (Proof of licensing is required)
• No Criminal Record in any jurisdiction or country
• CANADIAN CITIZENSHIP or Proof of a Valid Canada Work Permit
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Physically Fit (to a police/military standard)
• Reliable and Verifiable Employment History
• Professional in both Conduct and Deportment
• Exceptional Interpersonal and Communication Skills
• Valid First Aid/CPR/AED is preferred
• Prior High-Profile Security Experience is an asset
• RCMP, City Police, Alberta Sheriff, Fish and Wildlife, Corrections, Transit Peace Officer, CAF or Level 1 Alberta Peace Officer experience is a strong asset
• A Diploma or Degree (or enrolment) in a law enforcement, criminology, justice or corrections program is an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
• Night shift
