Security Guard - Office Building (M-F, days) Job at Security and Legal Services
Security company requires full-time security guard for a low rise office building located at King Street and Spadina Ave on Wellington Street West
We are seeking a candidate who can commit to the hours full time.
Hours:
- 0830h - 1700h, Monday to Friday, no holidays
- Site is closed December 23rd to January 3rd
- Opportunity for hours at other locations is available during this closure
Job Requirements:
- Ontario Security Guard License
- Standard First Aid CPR-C
- Experience at an office building or similar and successfully enforcing site protocol
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year experience in security and customer services
- Reliable transportation
- Must be professional and presentable
- Have excellent communications, customer service and report writing skills
- Use of Force training and use of handcuffs training an asset
Security guards will be expected to:
- Communicate with a high level of customer service
- Enforce mask policies
- Patrol
- Enforce the "Trespass to Property Act"
- Write and submit daily shift summary reports at the end of each shift
- De-escalate potential situations
- Communicate with their team
- Be flexible with work assignments
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
