The IT Delivery Cybercrimes team is undergoing a significant transformation and we’re currently looking for new players to join in on the fun! We’re looking for passionate people who are ready to work with us to implement strategies related to transforming the ecosystem under our Vice-President.

We’re looking for an Application Analyst to join the filtering team. Your day-to-day work at NB will involve working on a major initiative and providing support in a complex field of expertise.

In this role, you will:

  • Analyze, execute and document requests related to filtering applications, assess the impacts on the existing environment
  • Take charge of varied requests and follow up (incidents, problems, support requests, etc.)
  • Manage the hygiene of communication tools (email, Teams channels, Jira, etc.)
  • Communicate activities to project teams, business lines and other IT teams
  • Provide operational support with the help of your colleagues: analyze and qualify requests while eliminating issues
  • Participate in the development of processes and support tools
  • Ensure good IT hygiene for the application inventory under our sector’s responsibility
  • Analyze and qualify application support requests from users and internal and external partners
  • Work in conjunction with the teams at the Bank and external service providers to prevent, detect, and resolve application failures

Your profile

  • College diploma in a related field and 2 years of relevant experience OR a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1 year of relevant experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to manage priorities
  • Must be willing to work outside of business hours
  • Strong analytical skills, disciplined and detail-oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills and client-focused
  • Experience in IT, managing applications in complex ecosystems (changes, maintenance, evolution), an asset
  • Knowledge of banking payment processes as well as the associated business and operational processes, an asset
  • Knowledge of collaborative working tools: Jira, Confluence, MS Office 365, an asset
  • Knowledge of initiative and operations management methodologies: Agile (Scrum, Kanban), ITIL, DevOps, etc.
  • Understanding of the delivery cycle/life cycle of incident and problem management, an asset.
