CA$22.77 per hour to start and $24.21 when you reach one year of employment.

Work schedule: Monday to Friday Day shift: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Job Description Summary

Reporting to the Production Manager, the primary job function is to load customer orders safely and accurately in tractor trailers. Works in a normal production environment with exposure to temperature changes and safety hazards associated with general labor work.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

1. Material handling of customer orders

2. Safely operate a clamp/forklift inside plant and in trailers

3. Operate and unload squeeze trailers

4. Material handling of foam blocks and other material to/from plant areas, trailers and production lines

5. Moving rolls to/from shipping dock and loading/unloading trailers

6. Use RF Scanner to accurately scan labels for processing loads

7. Maintain shipping and manifest forms

8. Ensure daily equipment inspections are performed

9. Remove porta-racks from production to storage

10. Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained

11. Maintain satisfactory attendance levels

12. Other duties as requested by management

Minimum Qualifications & Skills

1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

2. Ability to drive a forklift/clamp truck or ability to obtain license

3. One year of Shipping & Receiving experience would be an asset

4. Able to interpret and work with numbers and measurements

5. Able to lift between 20 – 40 lbs. comfortably

6. General understanding of PPE and use

7. Adaptable and flexible for any change of daily tasks

8. Strong organizational and time management skills considered an asset

9. Ability to work under minimal to no supervision
