The Gear Centre Group, a leading provider of powertrain parts and service for the automotive, heavy truck and off highway equipment industries is currently seeking to fill a Shipper & Receiver/Parts Delivery Driver position in our Ft. McMurray branch.

Primary Responsibilities

• Receiving and recording of incoming parts stock orders and accurately warehousing
• Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift
• Picking and packaging of parts orders for shipping to customers
• Pick up & delivery of product in Ft. McMurrray and surrounding areas
• Drive the company half-ton truck in a cautious and responsible manner
• Responsible for keeping company vehicle clean and in good repair
• Maintain friendly, courteous communications with customers keeping them updated regarding the status of their deliveries

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driver’s abstract required
• Strong organizational skills with ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
• Must possess excellent customer service skills
• Confident and positive demeanor
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Some mechanical aptitude would be considered an asset
• Self-starter who takes the initiative to get things done
• Multi-tasking and time management skills
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable drivers abstract
