Shop Manager Job at Indigenous World Winery

$22–$27 an hour
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- A positive and outgoing personality with the ability to demonstrate strong customer service
- Experience in retail business with the ability to develop and maintain inventory systems
- Preference will be given to previous wine shop experience and/or extensive knowledge of BC wine and wine-making practices. ISG or WSET level 2 certification is considered an asset
- Strong multi-tasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Previous leadership experience
- Flexible availability with evening and weekend availability
The wine shop manager will be responsible for:
- Managing, training, and educating staff
- Educating visitors on our heritage, wine, and winemaking procedures
- Assisting the wine shop team in meeting monthly sales targets
- Maintaining product inventory and displays
- Maintaining and expanding wine club and newsletters
- Assisting with events and social media promotions
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Weekend availability

- West Kelowna, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

- Management: 1 year (preferred)
