Siding Installer

We are currently accepting applications for Siding Installers to work across our various sites in Victoria. Depending on your location, and the location of our worksites, van transportation may be available. The ideal candidate is a hard worker who is capable working with minimal oversight, safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Complete exterior finishing including installing panel and lap siding, soffits, flashing, rain screen and peel n stick;
• Perform a range of construction related tasks as assigned;
• Assist in various construction labour activities maintaining quality control;
• Assist with construction site clean-up;
• Assist subtrades when needed and as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in construction, with various hand and power tools is required;
• Previous carpentry and siding installation experience is required;
• Previous experience installing Hardie Panel and plank is an asset;
• Ability to work comfortably and safely from heights is required;
• First Aid, Aerial Platform and Fall Arrest training are assets;
• Takes safety seriously and is mindful of surroundings;
• Required to wear all PPE appropriately
• A positive attitude and ability to work well with others in a team environment;
• Desire to search out opportunities to learn new things;
• Considers quality and accomplishes tasks with an eye on the finished product;
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required;
• Ability to perform physical labour while working from significant heights on ladders and aerial work platforms.

Salary: $22.00-$32.00 per hour
