Relevant du chef d’équipe construction et manufacturier, le souscripteur ou la souscriptrice aura comme principales tâches l’analyse de risques des manufacturiers, grossistes, entrepreneurs et sera responsable de souscrire les demandes tout en veillant à ce que la qualité des risques souscrits soit adéquate afin d’atteindre la rentabilité maximum recherchée.

Principales responsabilités

• Souscrire et desservir les renouvellements selon les lignes directrices des différents programmes et contrats
• Développer des liens d’affaires avec les courtiers existants et nouveaux par le biais de visites de marketing
• Assurer la liaison entre les courtiers et les assureurs afin de négocier et déterminer les conditions d’assurances
• Représenter la compagnie lors d’événements de l’industrie, selon les besoins

Profil recherché

• 3 à 5 ans d’expérience en souscription
• Expérience en souscription des entreprises, principalement pour l’assurance des entrepreneurs (fort atout)
• Au minimum un AEC ou DEC en assurances, CRM, PAA ou FPAA (atout)
• Niveau avancé de l’anglais et du français, à l’oral et à l’écrit (Requis)
• Capacité d’analyse et de prise de décisions sous pression
• Adaptation et flexibilité face au changement
• Excellentes capacités de négociation
• Sens des responsabilités et des priorités
• Niveau de service élevé et toujours en mode solutions au profit de notre clientèle en forte croissance

Summary

Reporting to the construction and manufacturing team leader, the underwriter's main tasks will be to analyze the risks of manufacturers, wholesalers and contractors and will be responsible for underwriting requests while ensuring that the quality of the risks underwritten is adequate in order to achieve the maximum profitability sought.

Main responsabilities

• Underwrite and service renewals within the guidelines of the various programs and contracts
• Develop business relationships with existing and new brokers through marketing visits
• Liaise between brokers and insurers to negotiate and determine insurance terms
• Represent the company at industry events when required

Profile

• 3 to 5 years underwriting experience
• Experience in commercial underwriting, mainly in contractors insurance (strong asset)
• Minimum of an AEC or DEC in insurance, CRM, CIP or FCIP (asset)
• Advanced level of English and French, oral and written (Required)
• Ability to analyze and make decisions under pressure
• Adaptability and flexibility in the face of change
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Sense of responsibility and priorities
