This is an entry-level temporary contract position that starts end of June and finishes mid-September with the possibility of extension into other positions. Flexible schedule. No prior experience is required!

- The schedule for August is weekdays and weekends between 10 AM to 7 PM.
- The schedule for September is the first two weekends only between 10 AM to 6 PM.

Marineland of Canada is looking for individuals to work in our Splash Pad for the 2023 season! The Splash Pad Associate is responsible for the supervision and safety of guests in the splash pad. If you enjoy being outside and are good with both kids and adults, then this might be the position for you!

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to guests while in the splash pad
• Ensure the safety of guests in the splash pad by preventing and reducing incidents of slips and falls
• Manage administrative reports including incident reporting
• Follow facility emergency and safety procedures including WHMIS and health and safety regulations
• Work with enthusiasm and energy while concentrating on guest management and working under a variety of weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to stand and/or walk throughout the entirety of scheduled shifts, during various weather conditions
• Knowledge of theme park operations, First Aid, emergency situations and record-keeping is considered an asset
• Customer service and experience supervising children are considered an asset
• LSS Bronze Family Examiner, CPR, First Aid Instructor/Examiner and NLS Instructor/Examiner considered an asset
• Work independently or as part of a team
• Support a 7 day a week operation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
