Job Information

Reporting directly to the Manager, Pharmacy Services, you will maintain and monitor the procurement and distribution of medications, provide drug information and education within Stanton Territorial Hospital (STH) and its affiliated clinics. You may also provide functional direction to the pharmacy technician(s) during the delivery of their pharmaceutical services and assist them in the management of the automatic dispensing cabinets (ADC) system to assure medications are accessible to healthcare staff in a safe and efficient manner.

In addition to providing medication distribution services and drug information to inpatient and select outpatient populations; you will provide support to ambulatory care services such as Dialysis Clinic and Medical Daycare in regards to pharmaceutical care.

The Pharmacy requires 24-hour coverage. Therefore, you will be required to share standby on a weekly rotating basis with other pharmacy staff members (approximately 7 shifts every 4 to 6 weeks).
