This is an opportunity to join our Claims team as a Claims Associate, Accident Benefits for the Fall 2023 term. This role is available in Ontario offices (Toronto, Mississauga, Ajax, London, Ottawa, and Richmond Hill).

What you’ll do here:

  • Learn about the casualty claims operation within the Auto Insurance industry
  • Manage and investigate predominantly medical claims while abiding by current provincial regulations & guidelines as well as company protocols and procedures
  • Gain exposure to treatment and recovery plans, legal processes, and the interaction of healthcare systems
  • Providing an exceptional customer service experience

What you bring to the table:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Paralegal or Health Sciences [Kinesiology or psychology] preferred
  • Available to work with us for Fall (September to December) 2023
  • Must be returning to full time studies in Winter 2024 following the internship
  • Strong customer service, problem solving and communication skills
  • Computer literate - proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • An ongoing commitment to self-development
  • Knowledge or understanding of medical terminology is considered an asset
