Student Recruiter (Greater Toronto Area) Job at CPA Ontario
CPA Ontario is currently in search of a full-time permanent Student Recruiter who will act as a brand ambassador, responsible for attracting new students to the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) program by promoting the designation. This position includes building and fostering strong relationships, working closely with community partners as well as creating brand awareness initiatives and developing strategies to advance the CPA profession in Ontario.
Positions will support Eastern OR Southern Ontario regions
Promoting the CPA brand and designation as well as acting as the “face of CPA Ontario Student Recruitment”.
Developing innovative business plans and strategies in order to drive recruitment, growing membership and meeting objectives.
Fostering and building relationships with a variety of external stakeholders as well as internal clients and teams such as Customer Service, Student Services, IT, and Marketing and Communications.
Presenting to students, cold calling educational institutions and stakeholders and scheduling meetings and appointments in order to build a network with the goal of increasing participation and engagement.
Executing on all initiatives, utilizing social media channels and planning and participating in a variety of engaging events with the goal of optimizing CPA exposure.
Experienced in a related field such as recruitment, business development, public relations, marketing and/or communications, combined with a strong business acumen.
An excellent communicator (verbal and written) with very strong presentation, interpersonal and public speaking skills.
Technically savvy and knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams. Experience with Salesforce and Power BI is considered an asset.
Able to motivate and inspire others and build and nurture relationships with ease.
Well organized and can plan and execute events successfully as well as work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Able to set up a home office for remote work purposes and travel to events - some positions require travel to attend events in person once it is safe to do so.
Currently able to gain access to a car for business travel and also hold a valid driver’s license.
Flexible and available to attend events that may be outside of regular business hours.
