We are recruiting for a Personal Support Worker to assist our male client with Spinal Muscular Atrophy in all activities of daily living. Our client is a music composer and works in film industry. #UN2023
Please note, we are accepting the applications of those candidates only who are currently a resident of British Columbia.
Location:
- Victoria (near University of Victoria)
Shifts and Hours:
- Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays: 12am to 8am
- Spare bedroom available for sleeping
Compensation:
- $25 per hour
Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):
- 2 mandatory turns in the night
- Assist with my BiPap and other care as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Experience working with individual's with physical disabilities is preferred
- Experience using mechanical lift is preferred
- Someone who is comfortable, reliable and professional
- Must be fully vaccinated
Individuals with disabilities can be more susceptible to the severe symptoms of COVID-19. Candidates are required to provide their proof of vaccination as mandated by the Ministry of Health.
