Technical Sales Representative

Chris Page & Associates Ltd. was incorporated in 1980. We are the largest independent distributor of lubricant products in Western Canada. We are the licensed distributor for Chevron Global Lubricants and Summit

Industrial Products as well as select chemical and solvent products. We deliver to all areas of Alberta,

Northeastern British Columbia, Saskatchewan and north to the Northwest Territories.

We are a locally owned Alberta company whose main branch is located in Edmonton. We take pride in knowing our customers and working towards a partnership with each of them. Technical Sales Position

We are currently expanding our sales force, and are looking for full-time Technical Sales people to work out of the Calgary area. This person will be responsible for servicing and growing an existing list of customers as well as prospecting for new business in their assigned territories. We are looking for a true

"Road Warrior", someone willing to travel throughout their assigned territory.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage base of accounts to retain and grow volumes and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Grow account base and volume through effective prospecting campaigns.
  • Achieve volume and sales targets for your territory.
  • Develop strong relationships with all accounts to maintain a high level of service and client loyalty.
  • Recommend solutions that best fit customer requirements - present and future needs.
  • Track all customer and prospecting calls within our Sage CRM system.

Objectives

1. Retain and grow revenues from existing customer base.

2. Secure new customer accounts through prospecting.

3. Deliver a high level of customer service and satisfaction.

4. Manage activities through our Sage CRM system.

Job Candidate Skills and Characteristics

  • University graduate preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' field sales experience - ideally in servicing both existing accounts (customer service) and prospecting (up-selling and cold calling).
  • Experience in using CRM systems for data entry, analysis and reporting.
  • A motivated self-starter, with superior organizational skills.
  • Strong ability to manage relationship at all levels.
  • Willingness to travel daily including overnights .
  • Persuasive and persistent. Integrity and honesty is a must.

  • Organized, enthusiastic and hard-working.
  • Experience in lubricant or industrial sales is considered an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
