GerrAudio Distribution is an established sales and distribution company of professional audio & communications equipment across Canada. The company’s headquarters is located on Development Drive in Brockville’s industrial park.

Technical Services Coordinator

Permanent – Full Time

This position will work closely with the company’s Technical Services Manager, Repair Technician and supplier contacts to ensure all technical services and repair inquiries are addressed and resolved within a timely manner.

Primary responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to); coordinate all incoming technical service and repair inquiries; initiate and track all internal and external repairs; determine warranty status on broken equipment; issue Return Authorizations, prepare repair quotes and communicate turn-around times based on parts delivery and service schedule; maintain parts inventory; issue quotes for parts; maintain list of parts pricing; monitor, organize and maintain parts and demo inventory in company’s CRM system; and occasionally assist with tradeshow, seminar and product demonstrations.

Position Requirements:

· Proven technical support experience or experience as a customer service representative

· Highly organized with exceptional time management skills; ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects simultaneously

· Effective communicator; ability to interact with customers/suppliers on the phone or via detailed, precise e-mails

· Familiar with CRM systems and practices; computer literate with Mac and Microsoft applications

· Customer-oriented and ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities

· Ability to troubleshoot technical situations and collectively work as a team to solve problems

Qualifications:

· College or technical graduate, or have relevant work experience in the audio-visual or related field

· An interest in Theatre Production, Mechanical or Electronic Technology will assist in gaining a thorough technical knowledge of the company’s products.

· 3+ years of experience in a customer service / inside sales support position, preferably in a smaller, technically orientated distributor, customer sensitive operation.

· Able to be flexible, multi-task and work independently while being cooperative and supportive as a member of a small team. A go-to, get things done type of energetic individual.

· Valid Class G Ontario Driver’s Licence that is maintain it in good standing, to drive the company’s van, while not negatively impacting our automobile insurance premiums and a personal vehicle, which can be used for business, use from time to time, is considered an asset.

· Bondable and/or able to produce/secure a Police Record Search Certificate.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year

  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
