Telephone Data Collection Clerk Job at York University

Purpose:
Reporting to the Managers, Telephone Data Collection, this entry level position is responsible for either a) contacting households that have been sent an advance letter from ISR which describes and explains new survey research projects OR b) contacting households to participate in very short survey research projects. Telephone numbers to call are assigned by Manager(s) Telephone Data Collection or by an automated call dialler. Questions to be asked of respondents are delivered automatically by Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing software.

Education:
High School Diploma.

Experience:
No previous work experience required.

Skills:
Telephone Data Collection Clerks must be able to read and speak English. Basic keyboarding is required (the entry of single digit or double digit responses).

Additional Notes:

When working from home, employees are expected to provide a laptop/desktop computer and a headset. Employees working from home will not have equipment provided for them.
