You will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the assets on the guideway of the line (Fences, track, turnout Litter Picking, greens management, drainage control of the platform and tunnel, overhead catenary system, Access control etc.) in line with specified Quality procedures. Your key responsibilities: The role requires manual work and sometimes working on powered equipment in a safe and controlled manner. You will perform ice/snow clearance operations. You're expected to drive and manage the non-revenue vehicle railroad crane, ballast regulator, and Hi-Rail Vehicle when required. Work in accordance with strict Health & Safety procedures as laid down by legislation and the Company's Health & Safety and Quality policies. Participate in the maintenance of some other assets (Tunnel ventilation, security system, Pumps etc.). Carry out all levels of examination and work arising involving the equipment/working manuals, shunting & reformation exams. You will exchange or repair some of the assets of the subsystems and undertake other duties related to the environment of the assets or of work as specified by the team leaders and/or Systems Operation Manager in a safe manner. In case of an Accident or Major failure, you're expected to report and participate in the rescue/corrective operations. You will work with the Rail System Team in case of emergency or extreme weather (snow/ice) in order to maintain the line operation. Supervise and/or follow any sub-contract activities and attend regular team briefings. Read reports and manuals as and when required and report activities (work orders/inspections) through a Computerized Maintenance Management system CMMS and Tabs. You will drive company vehicles when required, and you're expected to respect, clean and maintain his work environment. You must be available to work at night and on holidays/weekends. What you need to succeed: Overall 5 to 7 years of experience as a Trackman or Track technician in a rail, light-rail or track environment. In addition to it, approximately 3 years of experience in OCS is desirable. Basic knowledge of the catenary system and the electrical system is desirable. Working knowledge of Quality and Health & Safety standards. Good communication skills as you will be required to occasionally share skills/information with others. You must have a valid driver's license - G Full. You must be able to work at height, outdoors and during the night when required. Other licenses, such as truck/trailer, are desirable. Ability to work under tight deadlines, prioritizing tasks accordingly and escalating issues when needed.
