Our client, a leader in commercial trailer solutions, is seeking Trailer Technicians for their Lachine location.

Shifts

  • Days: Mon - Fri, 6:30am - 3:00pm
  • Evenings: Mon - Fri, 2:00pm to 12:00pm

Description

  • Responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of company and customer equipment
  • Perform preventative and schedule maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment to manufacturers’ specifications
  • Complete regular maintenance reports and review work orders
  • Use diagnostic scanner tool to read codes and obtain repair information to perform repairs
  • Maintain a safe, clean and efficient working environment
  • Follow procedures and company policies to maintain highest level of safety, quality and cost-effectiveness

Skills

  • Detailed oriented and safety conscious
  • Basic knowledge of ABS diagnostic software
  • Must have spoken and written French
  • Strong team player and Professionalism in customer service

Experience and Education:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in Trailer repairs
  • Experience in fabrication, welding, tailgate repairs preferred
  • Working knowledge of Heavy Truck Garage safety principles and behaviour
  • Ability to lift up to 85 lbs
