Truck Driver Job at Professional Excavators & Construction Inc.
Professional Excavators & Construction Inc. currently has an immediate seasonal opening for an experienced Rock Truck Driver.
Required Skills:
- Adhere to safety and environmental rules and procedures
- Operate haul trucks ranging in size from 30 to 45 tonne capacity on 12-hour shift 6 days a week
- Work and operate outdoors in all weather conditions, including winter conditions
- Have the ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Inspect equipment, such as tires, fluids, lights, brakes, to ensure equipment is fully functional and safe for operating
- Communicate with other operators, and supervisors using communication devices such as two-way radios
- Assist labour related duties such as cleaning tracks on equipment
- Perform required daily maintenance and greasing of equipment
Qualifications:
- Valid class 5 drivers license, or equivalent, without learner’s restrictions
- Previous heavy equipment operation or industry related experience, is considered beneficial
