Day Shift

We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Customer Service Representative. Prior experience within the warehousing industry, and 3PL environment is required for this role.

Under the direction of the manager, efficiency and customer service will be a priority. The Customer Service Representative is accountable to facilitate the receiving and storing, moving and shipping of supplies, stock, and materials, effectively managing the timely flow of order processing.

Responsibilities:

Respond to customer inquiries, providing quick turnaround; *Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction

*Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication

*Data entry for both shipping and receiving into the Trucking Management System (TMS);

*Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools

*Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution

*Work closely with dispatch to ensure the flawless transition of information *Participate in meetings to improve productivity, resolve customer service issues and manage the workload of the team; Assist with training of new employees within the department;

*Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships within the team, as well as cross-functionally;

*Take care of import-export and relations with customs officers *Execute any other logistics customer service-related tasks as assigned by the direct Manager. Qualifications:

*Minimum of 3 years experience in customer service (in the logistics and warehousing industry, an asset);

*Ability to communicate well in French.

*Energetic, hard-working, great attitude, sense of urgency, team player;

*Customer service oriented;

*Strong communication, organization skills, and attention to detail;

*Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft

  • Montreal, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
