At Richmond Packaging we are an essential service that manufactures a wide range of flexible packaging products, mostly to the food production industry.

We currently have an opening for a Warehouse/Office Cleaner. This is a full-time, permanent position located in Richmond, B.C. near the Bridgeport SkyTrain station. We only consider candidates living in the Vancouver Lower Mainland area that have previous experience as a cleaner.

Responsibilities:

• Following schedules and procedures for accomplishing tasks that are critical for maintaining a sanitary and safe processing environment.
• Cleaning all equipment, structures, grounds in and around the Richmond Packaging Office, Production Plant, Warehouse and Shipping areas. Ensure all areas are kept hygienic, tidy and organized
• Follow procedures for the safe use of chemical cleaners and power floor equipment

Tasks include, but are not limited, to:

• Sweeping, mopping and/or vacuuming all floors.
• Cleaning lunchrooms, bathrooms and office spaces.
• Replenish and maintain bathroom supplies daily.
• Remove and properly dispose of all garbage & recycling.
• Conducting general everyday cleaning.

Requirements:

• Willing to work in a warehouse and safety-first environment (steel toe boots required).
• Physically fit - must have physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend. Lifting or moving up to 30 lbs may be required.
• Able to work independently.
• Able to receive and provide instructions in a positive manner.
