Job Title: Warehouse Operative at Cosmaroma Home Renovations Supply Store

Cosmaroma is a leading home renovations supply store that provides high-quality products and exceptional customer service. We pride ourselves in ensuring that our customers are satisfied with their purchases and have a positive shopping experience. We are currently seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our team in our North York, Steeles Ave W, Ontario location and contribute to our growth and success.

Responsibilities:

• - Conduct inventory counts and order products to ensure adequate stock levels
• - Keep up-to-date with product knowledge, industry trends, and market developments
• - Collaborate with team members to create an enjoyable shopping experience for our customers
• - Perform other duties as assigned by management
• Accurately receive and count inventory when new products arrive
• Perform physical/visual inspection of the products
• Identify and label skids with master case labels
• Keep general areas tidy and aisleways clean
• Any other Warehouse related tasks
• Operate mechanical Forklift, winch, or any other devices
• Load and unload materials with care
• Dispose of leftover packaging materials such as wooden crates, pallets, and cardboard
• Ensure Health and Safety protocols are followed
• Clean the space from any debris that might affect someone’s or your health
• Welcome delivery trucks
• Tag and label inventory and stocks
• Following PPE requirements (safety boots, high visibility vests, hard hat) if required by the manager

Requirements:

• - High school diploma or equivalent
• - Prior experience in sales, customer service, or retail
• - Knowledge of home renovations products and trends preferred
• - Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• - Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
• - Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed
• - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
