Web Developer

RideWrap provides the global mountain bike industry with high-quality protection solutions. It’s core product, protection wrap kits are engineered for the best fit and highest coverage in the market and have an insatiable demand globally. This role will play a key role in creating a great purchasing experience as RideWrap progresses through its high growth trajectory.

You’ll be building and optimizing functionality of our web offerings and internal services. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, good communicator and have a solid grasp of time management. You will be a crucial member of the development team and be responsible for delivering results on-time in a very fast-paced environment. Flexibility and a positive attitude are crucial, as well as the ability to execute with excellence.

Responsibilities

· Gutenberg block custom development.

· Custom WordPress theme development.

· Location tracking API development.

· Create functions for database building, optimization and management

· Develop APIs for external use.

· Integrate data via API into multiple sites.

· Implement new front end web designs.

· Optimize backend site functionality.

· Optimize webpages and content for speed.

· Own the organization of the website systems.

· Work with other teams on various other elements of the overall strategy and execution.

· Other duties as assigned.

· Be creative and get things done!

Qualifications

· Self-starter and ambitious.

· Proven experience with Python, PHP and Javascript, WordPress, Gutenberg Blocks.

· Experience with APIs an asset.

· Experience with machine learning an asset.

· Proven experience coding HTML, CSS. PHP.

· Location API Libraries ( JS/PHP ).

· Experience with Google cloud services an asset.

· Experience with marketing/brand/design work is an asset.

· English speaking and writing skills.

· High degree of organization, attention to details and level of professional conduct.

· Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.

· Interest in the biking industry.

This is a Full-Time position located in Whistler, BC.

Preference is made to applicants that are in the area with housing secured in the Sea to Sky corridor (and transportation if not in Whistler) prior to application.

Remote work is an option for this role.

RideWrap offers competitive compensation based on qualifications and experience. Qualified applicants will be contacted for an interview.

Salary: $41,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
