Our company is looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a Welder. The successful candidate will work directly with our experienced welders to create and maintain quality welds for a variety of projects. Qualified candidates should have experience in the welding industry, and knowledgeable about the equipment we use and the safety standards required.

Responsibilities:

• Selecting, measuring, cutting, and joining appropriate metals to specifications.
• Preparing metals and work surfaces to ensure safe and effective assembly.
• Interpreting specifications and blueprints accurately.
• Maintaining a safe working environment by following welding safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Working effectively under pressure and meeting project deadlines.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure project completion.
• Maintaining accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the best welding techniques and materials to use.
• Operating welding equipment and machinery to weld metal parts together.
• Performing visual inspections of welded parts to ensure they meet quality standards.

Requirements:

• Certification in welding or a related field from an accredited technical school or training program.
• Proficiency in a variety of welding techniques, including MIG, welding.
• Familiarity with welding equipment and machinery, including welding torches, gauges, and other tools.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required to meet project deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
