Our Client is looking for Certified CWB Welders/Fitters with a solid amount of years of experience in the large Structural Weldment field.
Main Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.
- Check equipment for all safety precautions and will wear his protective gear as per required for the job.
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as FCAW, SMAW and GMAW.
- GMAW & GTAW processing in all positions.
- Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
- Operate Brazing and soldering equipment.
- Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal straightening and bending machines.
- Repair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers.
- Assist with the maintenance and repair of welding, brazing and soldering equipment.
- May adjust welding head and tooling according to work specifications.
- Maintains and cleans up around his station upon completion of work.
- Reports to Plant Manager/Supervisor.

Employment Requirements:
- Completion of a trade apprenticeship program in welding.
- Certification in the related trade may be required. - CWB
- Certification in crane, propane and forklift may be required.
- Secondary School is required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
