Trillium Staffing is seeking Welder/CNC Operators for one of our clients located in Orangeville, ON.

This position is responsible for welding plastic liners and scoring with a CNC Machine.

What you’ll do as a Welder/CNC Operator:

• Set up and operate a router operation (to make large welded liners for the transportation industry)
• Ability to use CNC equipment to cut, trim, slot, chamber, profile, shape material considered an asset
• The operator will pull up programs, make minor adjustments to programs, install machine accessories like pins, cutting tools, templates, spoil boards
• Proven ability to follow standards, rules, policies, work instructions and directions
• Ability to operate handheld tools & measuring equipment
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure and deadline
• Ability to work cohesively in a team based environment

Qualifications required for a Welder/CNC Operator:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and skills
• Good visual/color vision and eye/hand coordination
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills and organizational skills
• Excellent computer and math skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to safely operator forklift
• Must have own CSA Approved Ankle covered safety boots
• Must be able to work an 8.5 hour shifts, Monday to Friday, rotating between days and afternoons
• Must be double vaccinated for COVID-19 and be willing to provide proof
