Our Exciting Opportunity:


We are now looking for a Software Troubleshooter. You will be working in our 5G Baseband organization, and your role will involve working in Trouble Report (TR) analysis and troubleshooting. Your responsibilities will include all related activities in TR analysis and/or resolution such as: triaging issues, prioritizing, investigating root causes, developing a resolution plan, implementing & testing a solution and providing timely status updates. This area of work offers an individual a growth opportunity to learn Ericsson’s Baseband 5G rich feature set. It allows you the opportunity to contribute strongly to the support of our product.


Responsibilities:


  • Troubleshooting Ericsson RAN to establish if a product issue can be suspected
  • Narrowing down issues to a specific software domain for TR to be assigned and preparing all needed data for design teams
  • Minimizing slip through of duplicates, already delivered corrections, and no action TRs.
  • Analyzing suspected BB faults before TRs are written (Jira tickets and mails to baseband front desk)
  • Participating in task forces on customer high priority TRs and high priority internal KPI TRs
  • Triage and prioritize TRs coming into Baseband, perform continuous analysis and requirement handling.
  • Develop new tools/automations to reduce the Time to Find a Fault

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelors, or higher, in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science
  • 5+ years of working experience as software designer
  • LTE/NR baseband processing knowledge, 3GPP specifications
  • Knowledge Sharing & Collaboration Skills
  • Development in a multi-core deployment
  • Strong communication Skills
  • C/C++ programming and scripting programming skills
  • Strong debugging / analytical skills
  • Real time embedded systems
  • Wireless communication theory
  • Experience working in an Agile team
