Faculty Appointment Types Part-time Job Summary
The College of New Caledonia is looking for qualified part-time instructors to teach Academic Upgrading Courses (Math, English, CUE) within its Six campus.
Skills & Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in Education, English, or Math.
  • A Provincial Instructor Diploma would be considered an asset.
  • Three years of teaching experience in relevant fields.
  • Strong empathetic interpersonal, teamwork and leadership skills.
  • Teaching or providing training in an online or in person classroom would be an asset.
  • Ability to travel is an asset.
  • Knowledge and experience with our northern indigenous communities would be an asset.

You will promote a positive work atmosphere and communicate in a professional manner that demonstrates mutual respect with students and colleagues.

You will be part of a team actively engaged in contributing to and accomplishing the vision, mission, and goals of the College and in supporting the aspirations and needs of our learners and communities.

Hiring criteria shall include professional qualifications, professional experience, teaching experience, college contributions, community awareness and personal attributes so far as they are applicable to the job classification in question.
