Accountant Job at Peter Shennett Professional Corporation
We are a full-service CPA accounting firm with offices located in Orillia and Fenelon Falls. We have a significant audit component primarily in the not-for-profit sector together with many compilation and review engagements. Our core of owner-operated businesses are small to medium sized and located throughout Ontario.
We are looking for experienced accountants, both full-time or part-time, with the following attributes:
- A high level of attention to detail combined with hands on problem-solving skills
- An independent worker who also appreciates the team experience
- Enjoys and takes pride in providing high quality client service
Your qualifications should include
- Three years experience in a public accounting firm completing year end files and personal income tax returns
- Computer skills with significant experience with Quickbooks
- Familiarity in Caseware or Taxprep would be a plus
Your responsibilities will be varied and include review and compilation engagements as well as preparation of personal and corporate income tax returns. Our normal work week is 35 hours. Overtime hours during the peak months of March through June would be required and compensated.
