Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Accounting Clerk on a permanent basis at our Co-op Ethanol Complex in Belle Plain, SK.

What you’ll do:

You will be responsible for the entire accounts payable process and all accompanying duties including debit/credit notes for the business and applying AR payments to accounts and sending AR statements. You will also be responsible for ethanol invoicing for Co-op Ethanol Complex employees.

  • You will process accounts payable, including monitoring the AP email inbox, troubleshooting AP issues, ensuring proper approvals coding invoices, entering invoices into the internal system, handling payment selections and packages and mailing cheques for both grain and accounts payable payment runs.
  • You will be creating debit/credit notes, applying, and sending AR payments and statements and contacting customers as required regarding balances.
  • You will be responsible for ethanol invoices, including building pricing files, reconciling liters, entering the accounting system, and troubleshooting customer queries.
  • You will also provide back up to the Administrative Clerk.

Who you are:

  • You have a Diploma in Business Administration, with a preference for Finance or Accounting.
  • You have a minimum of Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in accounting or finance. Background in the Agriculture industry would be an asset.
  • You’re familiar with Experience with Office 365.
  • You’re honest and trustworthy, are results oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • You believe in collaboration, building relationships and value the perspectives of others.
