Work environment

The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) is the federal government agency responsible for administering sentences of a term of two years or more, as imposed by the court. CSC is responsible for managing institutions of various security levels and supervising offenders under conditional release in the community.

EDUCATION

Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE

Experience providing administrative or clerical support services in an office environment. (Defined as the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with the performance of the duties on a continuous basis over a period of approximately three months, within the last five years, including any work placements).

Experience in the use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Experience providing clerical/administrative support services to management, such as monitoring and managing their electronic inbox and managing their calendar.
