Administrative Clerk (Charlottetown) Job at Armour Transportation Systems

Armour Transportation Systems is currently seeking a Administrative Clerk to join our team in Charlottetown PEI. The successful candidate will support to the Terminal Manager.

Responsibilties

  • Co-ordinate White glove paperwork and returns
  • Timely & accurate data entry
  • Driver Check-In/Check-Out
  • Undelivered report/daily coding / POD compliance
  • Customer requests; i.e. tracing
  • Over, shortages and damages
  • Scanning & filing of paperwork; i.e. BOLs, PODs
  • Weekly cash collects / deposits
  • Work closely with warehouse staff and other departments to communicate any special circumstances or requests, both for planning and revenue capture
  • Attend any required meetings and training, i.e. Safety, Information, TDG, Terminal Admin calls
  • Other projects as assigned by Terminal Manager
  • Respond to email or phone call correspondence timely
  • Relay issues or concerns to Terminal Manager

Essential Competencies:

  • Excellent time management skills
  • Proven ability to multitask
  • Able to deal with conflict and negotiate a win-win
  • Ability to adapt to ever changing priorities and deadlines

Knowledge:

  • Understanding of Microsoft office (ability to prepare reports in Word, Excel)
  • Strong typing skills
  • Industry related experience
