Employment Opportunity- Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper, Full-time

About us:

Atlas Therapy is a small team of registered psychotherapists who provide mental health services for substance and behavioural addictions, mood disorders, personality disorders, OCD, BPD, Bipolar, trauma, PTSD, grief, depression, anxiety, ADHD, ASD, eating disorders and couples counselling.

We currently have two locations in both Cambridge and Windsor and serve the surrounding areas as well as clients across Ontario virtually.

Duties and Responsibilities

Admin Support

  • Provide support to the Clinical Director
  • Answer client calls and emails
  • Schedule clients and manage bookings and correspondence
  • Update promotional materials and advertising sites (minimal)
  • Assist with creating training protocols/manuals
  • Maintain confidentiality of all data and information
  • Other administrative duties as assigned

Bookkeeping

  • Assist with financial administrative duties including payroll management, expense reporting, payables, and overall organization

Skills/Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to work with a team, work independently
  • Exhibit an ability to be open, share ideas and be non-judgmental
  • Contribute continuous improvement ideas
  • Experience with and knowledge of psychology, mental health, counselling or therapy (even if personal)
  • Ability to deal with multiple requests, calls and prioritize tasks
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficient in the use of the computer programs

Education/Experience

  • At least 3 years of work experience in an administrative position
  • Must consider yourself to be an empathetic, kind, understanding and compassionate individual
  • Must have extensive knowledge using QuickBooks
  • A diploma or certificate in Office/Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience working with an electronic data system for booking, billing, scheduling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Positive attitude, good judgment skills, articulate, diplomatic, team player
  • Ability to maintain information in confidence and respect sensitive information
