Looking for an Automotive Technician / Mechanic for a high volume shop in Winnipeg.

We are seeking Technicians to join our team of professionals!

Working for a family-owned company means you get treated like family. You will be working at our state of the art building located at 87 Oak Point Hwy (corner of Rt 90 & Selkirk Ave). Our shop has in-ground heating! Employees who work for us build a long-lasting career; many crew members have been here for a long time. During the past 12 years, we’ve grown to close to 30 employees. We recognize company devotion and dedication from our staff and have impressive employee retention for an independent car dealer.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics, repairs and maintenance of all types of vehicles
• Identify problems with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment.
• Test the functionality of parts and systems
• Perform basic auto care and maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation.
• Repair and replace brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors, and other parts.
• Perform routine maintenance and general mechanic works on vehicles.
• Help keep repair shop clean and organized.
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing & repairing vehicles
• Take preventative measure to Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle's breakdown or damage
• Follow the checklist to ensure that each critical part of the vehicle is examined
• Complete and thorough inspection of parts like hoses, belts, plugs, fuel systems, brakes and other possible troublesome items
• Use power tools, machine tools & common handheld tools
• Review work orders and discuss with the supervisor
• Complete Manitoba Safeties

• Must possess a valid driver's license/ clean abstract
