For over 60 years, the Roy Foss Automotive Group has been a cornerstone of the community. At our Thornhill location, we sell and service Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac brands.
Roy Foss Automotive is seeking an experienced and professional Automotive Transmission Technician. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in this role. Some things we are looking for so you can be successful in this role:
If you have strong Diagnostic capabilities, with a 310s or 310D license , we would love to talk to you.
Experience:
- Automotive Repair: 2+ years (Preferred)
- Experience in the repair and overhaul of automatic and manual transmissions.
Other Duties:
- Read manufacturer's drawings and manuals
- Basic computer and internet literacy
- Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
- Drive manual transmission vehicles
- Use computer diagnostic equipment
Requirements:
- Committed to the set working hours Mon-Friday 8am-5pm & occasional Saturday
Licenses:
- 310S or 310D certification
- G Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract (Required)
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
- Automotive dealership or similar experience a definite asset
