Roy Foss Woodbridge is seeking an experienced and professional Trim Technician. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years’ experience in this role. Some things we are looking for so you can be successful in this role:
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive electrical systems including heating and air conditioning system, vehicle safety systems, electric running boards, air bag systems, theft deterrent systems, dash removal and installation, Driver assistance systems, parking assistance systems using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment
- Knowledge of computer software updates and programming vehicle onboard computer modules
- Test and adjust units to specifications for the proper performance
What you bring to the table:
- 3-5 years of General Motors Company product and experience, and/or General Motors dealership experience
- Valid G driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract required
- Will accept 5th year apprentice
- Automotive Service Technician (310S), member of the Ontario College of Trades, or eligibility to obtain both
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and rotating Saturdays;
- Automotive service technician trade certification
- Computer literate
- Hoist and WHMIS Training considered an asset
