This shift is Monday to Thursday, 10 hours, with overtime based on production demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine requirements
• Follow weld procedures to ensure quality products
• Follow company procedures to weld/fabricate projects
• Be proficient with SMAW, GMAW, SAW, carbon and stainless steels in all positions
• Have experience with working on vessels, fit up and layout
• Have manual dexterity with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Follow various company policies and procedures including adherence to high Safety standards
• Be willing to teach and mentor apprentices and less experienced welders
• Work safely and observe all safety rules to provide a safe place for all employees
• Produce a quality product
• Meet schedule deadlines
• Complete all required paperwork
• Other duties, as advised by direct supervisor

Qualifications/Requirements:

• An Inter-provincial Red Seal Journeyman Welder certificate or Apprenticeship certificate through AIT
• Hold a valid Grade B Pressure Welder Certificate for B Pressure Welders
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in tank and structural welding for Journeyman and Apprentice Welders
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in vessels, fit up and layout for B Pressure Welders
