Bakery Assistant Job at Danish Pastry House
The Danish Pastry House is seeking an entry level Assistant Baker/Line worker for their production facility on the Mississauga/Oakville border.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of various deserts, pastries and other baked goods for retail stores
- Follow specifications of the recipes
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to new baking concepts and ideas
- An eye for detail and consistency
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Follow company Heath and safety policies and processes
- Must maintain food quality and hygiene standard
Skills and Experience
- · Baking experience is an asset
- · Energetic with a positive work ethic
- · Able to multi-task
- · Reliable and able to work independently with confidence
- · Able to work as a team under the Department Manager
- · Must be able to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment
- · Able to pay attention to detail
- -Food handling certification
