BOOKKEEPING & ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT:

Flexible hours - Part-Time (half days) with potential to work full time

Your responsibility as our Bookkeeping Assistant & Administrative Assistant is to maintain our financial records, including client billings, expenses, receipts and payments, client intake, answering phones, organizing files, various other office duties. Variety is the spice of life!

You will work with our dynamic and supportive team to ensure all information is up to date, accurate and the office runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

  • Client billing
  • Client receivables
  • Client disbursements including maintaining all accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
  • Creating a weekly firm score card using inputs from our accounting system
  • Ability to take direction and work with a team.·
  • Maintains historical records with accurate and up-to-date filing including scanning, organization of online folders
  • Liaising with firm accountant and bookkeeper
  • Prepares weekly reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.

Required:

  • PCLaw
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office 365 suite
  • Proficiency with Excel
  • Data entry skills and generally good at numbers
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
