Primary Care Bookkeeper

The Southlake Academic Family Health Team is seeking a part time bookkeeper to support our large primary care practice. This role is part time (11.25 hours per week), permanent, flexible work scheduling and may be of interest for independent contractors.

Job Responsibilities:

· Conduct bookkeeping, accounting, and clerical/administrative functions.

· Make bank deposits.

· Maintain ledgers.

· Ensure invoices are paid in a timely manner.

· Reconcile bank account.

· Collect funds.

· Prepare financial statements.

· Other duties as required.

Qualifications and Desired Skills

· Degree or diploma in an administrative or bookkeeping related field.

· Certification in bookkeeping/ financial management an asset.

· Experience with bookkeeping, preference for Quick Books.

· Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Publisher.
