Holiday Inn Express & Suites Brantford is looking for someone to bring their vibrance and energy to the role! As a Breakfast Attendant, you’ll assist with Breakfast operations to ensure superior service and standards whilst delivering a memorable guest experience. You’ll work with a team that promotes a positive and efficient team culture. You’ll ensure compliance with all health, safety, or other requirements.

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the General manager, the Breakfast Attendant will provide customer service, guest satisfaction, and a quality work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

· Great attention to detail

· Exceptional teamwork

· Time management skills

· Superior communication skills

· High standard of personal presentation

· Ongoing commitment to quality and providing a truly unique experience to our guests

· The flexibility to work various shifts on a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays. Ideally you will have experience in a Restaurant or Hotel environment, minimum of 1 year. You must also meet the legal requirements to work in this country.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· To provide friendly, efficient service.

· Prepare and arrange food that are attractive and appetizing to the guests

· Inspect food being served.

· Meet service standards.

· Inspect to ensure stock is adequate before beginning operation.

· Know what items are not available to guests.

· Replace and rotate stock correctly.

· Keep condiments stocked.

· Full knowledge of served items and methods of preparation as needed.

· Works within policy to accommodate guest's special requests.

· Service and stocks items in a prompt and courteous manner and according to established service standards.

· To clean and clean tables as required using proper sanitation program.

· To report any irregularities or comments from our guests to management.

· To acknowledge and create a warm welcome to all guests

· To consistently exceed guest expectations.

· To ensure surrounding staff are working safely.

· Product knowledge of food will be helpful.

· Attributes such as being polite, courteous, and working effectively in a team environment are a must.

· Be familiar with hotel services offered

· Attend any training sessions or meetings (when asked)

· Other duties may be assigned by management

REQUIREMENTS:

· High school diploma is preferred

· Ability to work with food and hot dishes

· Carries ‘Food Safety Handling’ card is a plus

· Complete Health and Safety in four steps is a plus

· Ability to follow instructions and be detail-oriented

· Professional and friendly with all guests. Ability to achieve guest satisfaction

· Prior experience in Food and Beverage is an asset
