Building Technologist (Summer Student) Job at Berry Architecture + Associates
Berry Architecture has an exciting opportunity for a summer student in the field of Architectural and Building Technology to gain some excellent job experience working in a mid-size Architectural firm. We have offices in Kelowna, Cranbrook, and Red Deer, and this position would be in our Kelowna office for the summer months of 2023.
Every day is a new experience and a new challenge. You must enjoy working in a fast-paced, creative environment, like to work hard and still have some fun, and be keen to learn how your technology diploma applies in the work world. Your tasks will include producing working drawings, assisting with coordination of disciplines, drafting of details and construction procedures, supporting site inspections and creating construction inspection reports, maintaining up-to-date cartoon sets, and gaining knowledge of building codes, municipal regulations, and building envelope. Experience in the BIM world with Revit experience is a strong asset.
