We are looking to hire a proactive, tenacious, and innovative Business Development Manager. In this role you excel at creating and converting customers awareness and interest in Dorigo into the decision to choose us as their # 1 EMS solution provider. Through a clear understanding of our value proposition and vision you provide innovative solutions for new and high potential existing customers.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for aggressively pursuing opportunities to ensure market share growth and position us for future business successes. In conjunction with the leadership team you will deploy account strategies to achieve revenue goals and objectives set for the business.

The successful candidate will report to the Director of Internal Business Development and must have a strong understanding of program management as well as a technical background to engage in capability discussions with customers Engineering, Quality, and Procurement departments. You will drive results from the front end through to delivery in collaboration with Dorigo’s Engineering, Customer Experience and Operations teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive revenue growth from new and existing high potential customers
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with the organization’s overall goals and objectives
  • Manage the entire business development process, from initial contact to closing deals and maintaining ongoing relationships
  • Build and manage sales funnel for the respective areas (market segment and/or geographical location)
  • Responsible for achieving revenue and growth targets for the respective areas (market segment and/or geographical location)
  • Develop and manage Channel Partners and Sales Reps for the respective areas (market segment and/or geographical location)
  • Have a deep understanding of customer’s procurement cycles and develop innovative customer’s success journeys to positively interrupt the traditional procurement cycle and win the customer over
  • Have a good understanding of PCBA contract manufacturing landscape in North America as well as its market segments
  • Experience in Product Development Life Cycle and Go-To-Market strategy to ensure Dorigo’s offerings make it a partner of choice
  • Utilize CRM tools to record and communicate weekly sales activities and report on high-level opportunities
  • Conduct market research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitive landscapes to inform the company of business development strategies
  • Establish and maintain frequent contact with customers through focused visits and presentations to ensure high levels of satisfaction, identify opportunities and present compelling solutions
  • Lead contract negotiations to ensure mutual success
  • Deep collaboration with a cross-functional Customer Experience Team to translate customer needs into solutions. Ensure solutions meet or exceed the target-customer needs and contribute to Dorigo exceeding its goals
  • Support the day-to-day needs of the potential customers
  • Actively participating at professional meetings and conventions as appropriate
  • Frequent travel will be required to meet the needs of the business (estimated 50%)

Credentials & Experience
  • BA or BS, Engineering preferred
  • 5+ years' sales experience successfully exceeding quota with revenue responsibilities
  • Must have knowledge of the Canadian and Western United States Electronics industry
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong program management experience with excellent ability to prioritize, multitask and organize
  • Excellent MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills
